ABOUT ME
Priya Sarma is a first year Master of Science Student in the Global Health and Population Department at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research interests lie in health systems strengthening and reform in LMICs, particularly India. Currently, she’s working as a research assistant at the QuEST Center, where she’s helping with the People’s Voice Survey project which is a phone-based survey designed to integrate people’s voices into health system measurement by assessing their perspectives on processes of care and confidence in their health systems. Over the summer, Priya will be interning at the State Capability Enhancement Project in Meghalaya as a Cultural Bridge Fellow for Harvard. She will be working across multiple projects that aim to strengthen the health system in Meghalaya, specifically focusing on health governance and women’s leadership and agency.
